Lighthouse Cottages and Camping is located in the beautiful Almaguin Highlands midway between Parry Sound & Huntsville on Hwy. 518 West on the eastern shore of Bear Lake Ontario.
To get here follow Highway 400 to Barrie, then Hwy. 11, 29 km. north of Huntsville,
then left on Hwy. 518W. Go 23 Km. to
East Bear Lake Road, turn left and go 3 k.m. South. You will see the sign for
Lighthouse Cottages(above) on your right hand side

HOUSEKEEPING COTTAGES
 Attractive 1, 2, or 3-bedroom cottages overlooking
Bear Lake. Fully furnished cottages are
equipped with running water, flush toilets, gas
cooking, micro-wave dishes and cooking utensils.
Shade trees assure privacy yet no cottage is more than
a stone's throw from the beach! Please bring sheets,
pillow cases and towels.

 All cottages overlook the children's play area and beach. There are no roads to cross, no drop-offs, no weeds, no cars, and no worries. The kids love the teter-totter located in the warm shallow water. Parents
can watch their children from the comfort of the cottage, looking out the
large picture window facing beautiful BEAR
LAKE.
An inward breeze off the lake is a welcome relief on hot days,
and numerous
trees provide plenty of shade. |

FISHING
Large Northern Pike, small and large mouth bass, panfish, and mudcat.
Cleaning hut supplied for your convenience.
Fishing license is required.
Very private & quiet. Lots of trees. Mostly repeat clients.
A deposit of $100.00 is required - for each week to guarantee your reservation. The balance is due upon arrival. We accept money orders, certified and traveller's cheques or cash.
If a reservation is cancelled, the deposit will returned, less a 10% fee, provided a minimum of 40 days notice is given prior to arrival date.
No beer bottles - cans preferred. Glass on the beach is a No No. Quiet PETS are welcome; but must be leashed at all times & cleaned up after when necessary. The beach is
off-limits.
Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases & towels; otherwise a $10.00 fee per bed will apply for rental linen. Pillows and blanket are supplied. Extra guests over bed limit is
$50.00 per person, weekly. Campfires allowed only in designated fireplaces. Firewood available (fee).
